Rectangles
A geometry, defined within a cave - an own ecosystem.
Rectangles is another of Stefan Kainbacher's four works and represents a contemplative animation. Already for the first edition of the Vaduz Light Festival 2022 Stefan Kainbacher presented the first NFTs in Liechtenstein at the Galerie am Lindenplatz. Among them was the work RECTANGLES, 2022, exhibited as one of three NFTs.
It is interesting to note that this work in particular has a constructivist dimension in terms of its formal realization. The four squares rotating around their own axis represent a reference to the constructivist currents, which results in a discrepancy of the medium as well as the formal-analytical realization of the work.
This tension is now thematized again on the basis of this work by transferring the virtual work as NFT, now as fictional-physical and thus supposedly real work into virtual reality.
The digital art and light artist Stefan Kainbacher is the founder of the collective Neon Golden and has his roots in the international club scene. As in the club scene, the artist combines light and sound in his installations to create synergetic, audiovisual impulses. He transfers sensory experiences into art and creates spheric, audiovisual worlds for immersion.
